I like going on vacation ALOT! I love exploring and finding all the little nooks and crannies of a new and beautiful area. Typically when I roll into a new area, the first thing I do is find the local coffee house and try to strike up conversations with locals in the hopes of discovering what makes a particular area special. Usually I get directed to the most popular tourist destination in the area which is usually the opposite of what I am looking for. Sometimes, this is helpful however when your limited to say, a weekend, it is nice to be able maximize your time experience the best the area has to offer and not spending your time trying to find out what to do. The real bummer is the so called “vacation planning” sites which are suppose to be designed to assist you in your planning but more often give small, insignificant bits of info between massive amounts of advertising. Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with advertising, but I feel there should be as much content as there is flashy business banners. Restaurants and resorts or not the end all of a vacation in my opinion. Show me the variety of experiences. Tell me what most people don’t know about the area. I want to experience those wonderful remote locations that are not on any map or brochure. I want to customize my experience, not just visit the “usual spots”.

That is why the iheart Vacation Network exists. I wanted to create a comprehensive website for vacation planners who are seeking a unique and very memorable experience. We strive to fill all gaps and provide you with the neccesary tools to plan your visit. In this network you will find many photos so you not only read about what the area provides, you can see it for yourself. This network is beginning in Cambria but will soon encompass the whole of the central coast and hopefully beyond.
